Electronic Arts, Inc (EA) wants gamers to have a taste of what EA Access has to offer. Starting Tuesday, Jan. 19, subscription will be waived for a limited time trial of a week. This will give gamers a free pass to The Vault where they can play all 14 games for free.

"With EA Access, you get a lot of games for a little bit of money, and you're about to get a taste of what members can always enjoy in The Vault with EA Access Free Play Days," wrote EA.

"From Jan. 19 - 24, all Xbox Live Gold members can play every game in the EA Access Vault, all for free... Just launch the EA Access Hub app, and play as much as you want until Jan. 24."

This EA Access Free Play Days promo is the company's way of enticing gamers to sign up for EA Access. The regular subscription fee is $4.99 a month, but gamers can also avail of the one-year subscription for $29.99, which is a 50-percent discount compared to the monthly rate.

Apart from gaining unlimited access to The Vault's collection of games, subscribing to EA Access also allows members to get their hands on new EA games even before their release, for a limited time, plus they also get 10% discount on all EA digital purchases on Xbox One.

The EA Access subscription is only available on Xbox because Sony turned down PlayStation as the tech giant believes it does not offer good value for PlayStation users who expect something more, GameSpot reported back in 2014.

"PlayStation Plus memberships are up more than 200% since the launch of PlayStation 4, which shows that gamers are looking for memberships that offer a multitude of services, across various devices, for one low price," said a Sony representative. "We don't think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer."

As of the moment, the game lineup which can be accessed for free via the EA Access Free Play Days promo will include "Battlefield 4," "Battlefield Hardline," "Titanfall," "Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare," "Dragon Age: Inquisition," "Need for Speed: Rivals" and "Peggle 2." The sports enthusiasts will also get to enjoy free titles such as "NBA Live 15," "NHL 15," "FIFA 14," "FIFA 15," "Madden 25," "Madden 14,"  and "EA Sports UFC."
