It is indeed a great news for the iPhone users as Google has received its update. The update guides the users through the entire process of moving to Android. But that's not all, the company is also moving ahead to add more features on their Google Drive app for the iOS.

With this, users can now quickly back up their contacts, images, calendar, videos and store it in the cloud.  Earlier what users had to manually do can be done without hassle, the credit for which goes to Google.

This feature is definitely a boon for all those who wish to buy a new phone such as Pixel or any other Android phone. All that the users need to do is sign in on their Android devices and get all their content will get synced. The users don't need to worry at all as all their important stuff will remain stored in Google apps. It is automatic this time compared to what it used to be when users had to upload the stuff from various apps.

Users will find the latest option in the setting menu just below backup. But it won't be that quick if users have a lot of stuff stored in their device. So, be prepared as it might take a few hours even, as Google claimed. Along with this, users also need to get hold of a strong Wi Fi connection so that the process takes place easily. The app needs to remain open as well as on the screen during the update.

Google has also made it easier for iPhone users to simply switch to Android phones such as Pixel through the Quick Switch Adapter. With this, the users can quickly switch data from the iPhone to a Pixel phone. Interestingly, this quick switch option will also work for non Pixel, Android devices.

For an easier transfer of data from the iPhone to an Android phone, users need to switch off their iMessage before switching devices.
