The "Thank You" episode of The Walking Dead season 6 last Sunday was probably the most horrifying, most shocking and the most confusing event ever seen on the series. With the premature death of one of the fan favorites, many are now speculating how this could just be a fake-out or dream sequence, something that isn't really true because this character has a lot of things to offer in favor of the improvement of the AMC series.

However, while it can be a mere hallucination, here is a list of reasons why we think everyone's favorite pizza boy is already gone and went to "The Walking Dead" heaven.

1) Scott M. Gimple, the showrunner of "The Walking Dead" addressed the "Glenn situation" by sending a statement to "The Talking Dead", Variety reports. In the statement, Gimple states that while the episode was a difficult story to tell, it is important to let fans know that Glenn's character may still be seen in the series. It may not be the Glenn people used to love but some part or version of him, either as a memory or in the current story, to finalize and give meaning to the ending of the story.

2) Entertainment Weekly notes that Glenn's "dumbass" comment about Rick over the radio and the nostalgic moment he had while looking at Hershel's watch may have been pretty clear indications that it's time to say goodbye to the pizza boy who's personality became bigger as the series progressed. He might have matured in front of the camera thus the quest to burn down the building could have been his final macho act, giving Glenn a heroic exit.

3) ComicBook writes that Norman Reedus may have predicted this episode and have tried to showed it to the fans at the Comic Con 2015 question and answer "Which Walking Dead Cast Member Would They Bring Back?"

4) Stephen Yeun, the actor who played Glenn, have foreseen his demise for a long time now. In an interview with the actor for season 5, Yeun told Vanity Fair that he didn't subscribe to the idea that "The Walking Dead" will be killing off anybody because it merely wants them gone. Watching the show like an episode of "Survivor" shouldn't be how the fans view the series, Yeun continue. They should see death as a part of a beautiful story as it's the point of the entire show.

5) The final shot of the scene was Glenn being surrounded by so many zombies, eating guts, intestines and human flesh right on top of him, Entertainment Weekly adds. It's hard to imagine how anyone can survive that, let alone live.

But, then again, what about the big scene with Negan and the barbed wire covered baseball bat Lucille in the comic books? We'll just have to wait and see as episode 4 "Here's Not Here" airs next Sunday, November 1st.
