The social media was abuzz soon after the release of British singer and songwriter Adele Adkins of her latest music video for the single "Hello." The release date of her long-awaited third album called "25" was also confirmed to be on Nov. 20, to the delight of her fans.

According to the singer herself, the third album was so named because she believes that her 25th birthday was truly a milestone in her life, says the Celebrity Health & Fitness.

"Turning 25 was a turning point for me, slap bang in the middle of my twenties. Teetering on the edge of being an old adolescent and a fully-fledged adult, I made the decision to go into becoming who I'm going to be forever without a removal van full of my old junk," Adele wrote through a lengthy post in her Facebook account.

"My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record. '25' is about getting to know who I've become without realizing. I'm so sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened." The post has garnered close to 60,000 likes and shared by more than 100,000 Facebook users.

The singer gave birth to son Angelo, her first child, back in October 2012. Since then there had been some notable changes on her figure. She has been mum about how much weight she had actually lost. But judging the recent pictures of her and comparing from the old ones, it could really be a lot of pounds, according to The Examiner.

The 27-year-old singer admits to trying a lifestyle change in terms of the food she eats. She is now into a vegetarian diet in her quest to be healthier. Adele took inspiration from her fiance, Simon Konecki, when it comes to her diet switch. She has also been reported to doing some running workouts to further shed pounds.

Back in 2012, Adele has won a total of six Grammy awards for her previous album, entitled "21." She also won another Grammys for one of her most popular single "Set Fire to the Rain" in 2013, and another one last year, 2014, for the official soundtrack of the James Bond film "Skyfall." The song, which bore the same title as the film, also earned the Best Original Song award in the Oscars, according to the US Magazine.
