Most people don't have the time or the energy to plan out and prepare healthy breakfast meals for an entire work week. With these quick and easy recipes for overnight oats, you can get the nutrients you need for the day without losing a lot of sleep making breakfast.

1.    Peanut butter and banana overnight oats

Domesticate Me recommends combining peanut butter and banana for protein and fiber-rich breakfast. The recipe calls for a large banana, peanut butter, rolled oats, almond milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, agave or honey.

If you are not a fan of peanut butter, any nut butter would do nicely. To make the concoction sweeter, feel free to add more banana slices, coconut, dark chocolate, agave or honey.

If soy milk is not available, oatmilk, almond milk or your preferred non-dairy milk can also be used.

3.    Ginger peach overnight oatmeal

Who knew that fruits and ginger would taste wonderful when mixed with oatmeal? The peach and ginger mix was discovered by Oh My Veggies.

This recipe requires ripe peaches, oatmeal, almond milk and minced crystallized ginger. Simply place all ingredients in a resealable container and refrigerate overnight.

When breakfast time comes, stir the ingredients together and enjoy. Ripe peaches pack enough sweetness on their own which means there's no need to sweeten up the oatmeal any further.

5.    Blackberry mojito overnight refrigerator oats

Go to work with more energy with this recipe from Cravings of a lunatic. To create this mojito, you will need blackberries, unsweetened non-dairy milk, rolled oats, mint extract, lime zest or lime oil, rum or rum extract and agave to taste.

A teaspoon of chia seeds can also be added to make this breakfast meal extra thick.
