Fans of "Iron Fist" can now be happy and get excited for the upcoming new Netflix TV series again. Why? It is because the series is still working and thus, is still happening in 2016, the TV Series Finale says.

Marvel is successful with their very own "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil." Due to their success to a number of their TV series, many people are now waiting for their upcoming TV series, including "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist."

There were rumors that rose in the month of October 2015 that the Marvel series will no longer be continued and no longer be aired in the television. These rumors made fans feel miserable and hopeless to see one of their favorite Marvel superheroes in the small screen.

According to Digital Spy, some people thought that it won't be continued is because there is a lack of information and announcement about the series.

Many were dismayed to hear the rumors while some maintained their chill.

Clarifying the rumors, Joe Quesada, the chief creative officer of Marvel, announced that just because there is no announcement regarding the forthcoming Netflix Marvel series does not mean that there is something wrong going on.

The chief creative officer emphasized that they are still working on with the series.

As of now, there are still no reports as to who would portray as Iron Fist. Netflix and Marvel are yet to decide on who are they going to cast to play the main character and the supporting characters of the most awaited series.

People have their own ideals on who should play the protagonist. There are even some who think that his race should be changed and he should be turned into Asian - making Iron Fist as the first ever Asian superhero of Marvel.

An article in Fusion stated that the reason why Iron Fist should be Asian is because he spent years mastering hand-to-hand combat in K'un-L'un and K'un L'un inhabitants are expected to be from Asian-decent.

The Verge also reported that Marvel has received a lot of criticisms for making Danny Rand (Iron Fist) a white man superhero of the pseudo-Asian society.

As of now, there is still no clue whether Netflix and Marvel will stick to the comics and cast a white man to play the role of Danny Rand or they will try to go for change and cast an Asian actor to play the role.
