Many fans are looking forward to the new episodes of "Days of Our Lives." As usual, the longest-running TV show is successful in keeping their fans glued on the show. For those who wanted to know how Christmas would be in Salem, here are the spoilers for "DOOL" this week.

Some of the fans following the "DOOL" wanted to see Abigail and Chad together. However, in the last episode, he was brainwashed by Andre and things turn complicated between the two characters.

Although things were quite a mess, many are hopeful that the two characters will sort things out together. Fans were asked if Abigail could figure out what's wrong with Chad and fans believed that she will because she "is not as stupid as Andre thinks she is," one fan commented in TVFanatic.com.

"What I think has promised about this brainwashing story is that it sort of puts Abigail in Chad's former position, that of "I'm not giving up on you," no matter what. It's a super couple trope, and I hope they execute it that way," another fan wrote.

While Abigail and Chad still need to figure things out in the next episode of "DOOL," Steve and Kayla will be taking their relationship to another level.

CelebDirtyLaundry reported that many fans were disappointed when Kyla turned down Steve's proposal. However, he is determined to marry her and will be popping the question again. This time, he will have an audience on his next attempt.

The report suggested that Steve will propose to Kayla on Christmas and she won't crush her son's dreams by saying no in front of him. So, she will likely accept the ring and they will enjoy the holidays as a family. Unfortunately, Ava will not let them have their happy ending that easily.

Ava will disclose that she has leukemia and will inform Kayla of her condition. Although Kayla was hesitant, she will react with compassion. She thinks she needs to do her part after her brother Bo passed away with a brain tumor and she was left with nothing to help.

Ava will be thrilled that her scheme works like a charm. However, Steve will be getting updates about her illness to check if it is true or if she only manipulates her medical tests.

On a separate note, Inquisitr reported that the Hortons would be emotional as they gather to decorate the tree and spend the Christmas together. They will be having new ornaments with the name of their dear ones whom they lost this year written on it.

Watch "Days of Our Lives" weeknights at NBC at 8 and 10 p.m. ET/PT.
