The third installment to Bridget Jones's saga is going to be unveiled with the coming of "Bridget Jones's Baby." The movie is set for a Sept. 2016 theater run, but the first photo of the cast was released Monday in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. The profiles of Renee Zellweger (Bridget Jones), Colin Firth (Mark Darcy) and Patrick Dempsey (Mark Qwant) are splashed on the magazine's cover page with a feature that also includes new details about what the third film is about.

According to E! Online, Bridget, now 43 years old and still single, actually doesn't know the identity of her baby's father. "This is part of the new challenge, discovering where she is now in her new life," revealed Renee. "But as an actress, it feels like stepping back with an old friend. I love this character, I like that she tells stories about what it's like to be a woman and these really relatable situations at certain times in life."

The magazine feature revealed that Patrick's character is that of a "hot billionaire" and one of the possible dads. Patrick came into the movie as a replacement for the character of Hugh Grant when the latter expressed he was not going to participate in the third movie anymore. Grant's character, Daniel Cleaver, was Bridget's other guy in the first two films.

Vanity Fair reported that Bridget's latest situation with old beau Darcy isn't friendly even if they have such a rich past. But before fans think Bridget's current state means she's regressing in life, Renee pointed out that this new complication is the essence of her character. "All of us do things in our personalities that we don't outgrow," the actress said, per People. "I like that she tells what it's like to be a woman in these really relatable situations. It's so right to tell a story about Bridget in this stage of her life."

As for the men, Colin described the dynamics with Bridget's new suitor as "scarier." The actor said his rival in the movie is a "charming good guy." On the other hand, Patrick can only express excitement for being in a new love triangle after doing 11 seasons of "Grey's Anatomy" on television. "It's completely reinvigorated me," he told People. "It's just a completely different approach. With Grey's, you're just grinding it out. In this instance, you take the time to get through things."
