Reports about the game developer of "Elder Scrolls Online," ZeniMax Online Studios, cutting 300 employees from their company have been circulating in the past few days. The company apparently terminated people across the country and has reached as far as Ireland.

The game publisher, Bethesda, made it clear that the company is only reconstructing their customer support in August after the release of the new console, Tamriel Unlimited. Bethesda also confirmed that they only lost 50 people, which is contrary to the earlier numbers that were reported, according to a report by IGN.

Many gamers are now speculating that the "Elder Scrolls" franchise might be in trouble. However, the game publisher has sent an email to various news outlets with their official statement about the issue.

"Following the successful console launch of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited in June, we have a thriving console and PC online community. We adjusted customer support levels in mid-August by reducing staffing by approximately 50 people to reflect the game's stability and the needs of our players. This is a normal practice. We have been diligently working with the IDA, and the employees affected by this decision since the summer."

The company also added that they are disappointed of the inaccurate reports made by the Connacht Tribune, which created confusions in the tech world.

Meanwhile, the release of the new "Elder Scrolls 6" will be delayed due to another title. Fans will have to wait a little longer for them to enjoy the new installment of the "Elder Scrolls" franchise, Christian Today reported.

According to a report by Master Herald, the game might be released in 2017 as the publisher still could not come up with the best title. There were reports that "Argonia" will be replaced with "Skyrim 2." However, the company has yet to make an official announcement of its release. There are sources claiming that the company will make an announcement next year, however, this is yet to be confirmed.

Nevertheless, fans are currently enjoying the "Orsinium DLC" for "Elder Scrolls Online" released last month. The Maelstrom Arena was an instant hit for the die-hard "Elder Scrolls Online" fanatics. The latest update certainly provides gamers so much to keep them busy on the game, while the company is figuring out the release of the new installment.

Although fans are disappointed with the development of the next "Elder Scrolls Online" episode, there are some who may think that it is going to be worth the wait.
