Vin Diesel, who has been receiving a lot of comments lately regarding his “dad bod,” responds by showing off his abs-riddled body in a new photo posted in Instagram.

The actor, who is returning for another installment of “XXX,” titled “XXX: The Return of Xander Cage,” posted the photo to remind his fans that he still has the fit physique that he had, People reported.

Of course, those who will remember what Diesel went through in October will know that a series of photos that featured him in with a loose physique than he formerly had popped up.

However, the proud dad of four with his wife, 32-year-old Paloma Jimenez, is not as concerned with his body weight the same way his critics are.

“How do I feel about people being so focused on that?” he told Complex magazine. “I'm okay because I've had the best body in New York City for decades. There is no love lost there for me.”

Diesel admitted that the invasion to his privacy brought by the dad bod issue is apparently “weird.” Nevertheless, he's clearly and evidently happy with his role as a father to his kids.

"When you become a father, you're less vain. Your joy comes from your children," he said. "My favorite role in life is being Daddy."

In another news, Diesel won awards at the recent People's Choice Awards where he became emotional as he remembered his co-star Paul Walker while giving his appreciation speech.

Diesel was given two awards – favorite movie and favorite action movie – for “Furious 7.”

He said during his acceptance speech that it was a hard thing for the cast to continue making the movie after Walker died in car crash accident in 2013. He also said that he didn't expect to be carried away with his emotions because before coming up onstage, he was perfectly “cool.”

"You know, as I was coming up here, I always do this," he explained. “I say I'm not going to get emotional about winning these awards, and I was cool when I was sitting in my seat, and then they handed me two awards.”

He then explained that he began thinking about his friend Walker.

In closing his speech, Diesel gave an emotional tribute to his co-star by singing “See You Again.”

"I thank you so much and the only thing I can say now, 'It's been a long day without you, my friend, and I'll tell you all about it when I see you again,' " he sang.
