Racial bullying is the most rampant kind of bullying. Studies reveal that Asians, Blacks and Latinos are the ones who experience the most bullying at school, and many pre-teens and teens are participating in bullying without knowing its consequences.

According to No Bullying, there are many reasons as to why children start bullying other kids. It could be because they are not guided well as to why some people look different from the others.

Another reason why the kids are bullies is because of their home environment. You should not only watch your kids' attitude. You should also watch your own. You should set as a good role model to your children because there is a high chance that they will follow what you do - whether it is right or wrong.

It is a must to observe and find out whether our youngster is being bullied or not. Being bullied does a negative impact to a person's life. It might pull its grades lower. It might reduce the child's self-confidence. Worse, it can lead to suicide if bullying becomes intolerable.

The first thing you can do is keep an eye to your child's grade. If it falls dramatically, there must be something wrong going on with his life. According to Bet, bullied children usually drop their grades dramatically.

The second way you can monitor your child is to participate in school activities where parents are required or encouraged to do so. In this way, you can enter his own little world without him noticing and being too conscious that you are watching.

Third, you should always check on your kid. Always ask him about his day and have a chat with him once a day. Through this, he will be able to open up with you if something is wrong more confidently. Treat your child as if he is your best friend.

Fourth, educate your kid that there is nothing wrong to be different. If he is an Asian, Black or Latino and he is living in the North America, having a non-white skin tone does not make him less of a person.

Fifth, remind him that he is beautiful in his own way and that every child out there is also beautiful on their own. This way, even when someone tells something bad about him, he will still know that he is special and beautiful on his own way.
