It's almost time for what some call the "other" superhero civil war featuring DC Comics' Batman and Superman, which hits theaters this March. Two new TV spots have been released by Warner Brothers during the weekend's NFL playoff games, Entertainment Weekly reports. The first one features Clark Kent as he tries to convince Perry White (played by Laurence Fishburne) of the Daily Planet to uncover the mystery behind Batman. When White shuts him down, Kent decides to confront Batman himself, as Superman, of course.

The second TV spot features Bruce Wayne, on the other hand, accusing Superman of wreaking havoc all over the city.

"He brought the war to us," Wayne tells Alfred Pennyworth, who is played by Jeremy Irons. "Now we have to destroy him."

Along with the two exciting TV spots to keep fans and moviegoers excited for the upcoming film, a new poster has also been released via the film's official Twitter account, IGN reports. It features Batman and Superman in full costume at a stare-down, with the hashtag "#WhoWillWin," which will no doubt trend once the film hits theaters on March 25.

Slashfilm is pointing out, however, the obvious lack of non-dramatic conversation between the two superheroes, as the TV spots that have been released feature only have a handful of threatening words exchanged. Have these two ever heard of couples therapy?

Meanwhile, Collider reports that director Zack Snyder recently spoke with Empire Magazine to talk about the reason behind his decision to feature Doomsday in the upcoming film.

"To go up against heroes like Batman and Superman, we wanted to introduce one of the DC Universe's most iconic and powerful villains. He is essentially an unstoppable force. He poses a real threat to the world within the film," Snyder said of Doomsday. He adds that Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, has a keen interest in metahumans, and may be linked to how Diana Prince/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) plays a role in the whole story.

"You learn pretty early on that Lex is interested in metahuman existence," Snyder said. "And that there might be some relationship between that investigation and the appearance of Diana Prince."

For those who are still not in the know, the official film summary of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is below. The film hits theaters on March 25, and will bring together a star-studded cast, which includes Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne, and Lauren Cohan as Martha Wayne. The film is produced by Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder with a script from Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.
