Kevin Durant sure is making news both on and off the court. Durant seems to play at his best for the Oklahoma City Thunder thanks to his health, and along with Russell Westbrook, they are hoping to reach the NBA Finals this season, Kicks On Fire reported.

“We've got guys [in Thunder] that can score,” Durant told ESPN. “We've got two guys on this team that can get a bucket.”

“We've got dynamic guys that can play and do different things on the floor; I think that's to your advantage," he added.

Durant seems the kind of player that many young ones will look up to. If ever you have or know of a young Durant fan, then this might interest you: Nike is making a new orange-colored KD 8 basketball shoe, exclusive for Durant fans in grade school. Very young and vibrant.

Kicks reported that the Flyweave on this pair is splashed in Total Orange, making it very bright. The tongue, laces, Nike “Swoosh” branding and the marbled outsole is colored by a mix of grey and silver. Not only that, the Nike Swoosh has 3M detailing, making it shine.

Currently, the pricing for the Orange-colored KD 8 is not yet known and it is not yet available in stores. However, you can be sure to see them at Nike.com and in selected Nike retailers in the near future.

Kevin Durant’s 8th signature sneaker debuted in 2015. At the time, it became known as the Nike KD 8.

The KD 8 is designed in a low-cut style and was made by inspiration of a saber tooth tiger. Nike's Flyweave is introduced on the KD 8 and is used as the upper, while the whole shoe rests on a Zoom Air unit at the bottom.

A saber tooth tiger's characteristics are presented on both the heel and wrap around the lower half of the sneaker, as well as the midsole.

The KD 8 has other colorways released so far, Sneaker Files reported. These includes the Ocean Fog, Independence Day, Hunt's Hill Sunrise and Hunt's Hill Night, V-8, USA, NSW Lifestyle, Suit, Hyper Cobalt and BHM.

The passionately designed KD 8 line is as passionate as the player himself.

"Look, [Thunder's] not the San Antonio Spurs," Durant said. "We're not going to make 30 passes in a possession. We're not that. Of course, people want us to be that. That's great basketball, don't get me wrong. But we're not that.”
