Fifty Shades Darker" stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have been catapulted to the spotlight because of E.L. James' movie adaptation of its famous erotic trilogy. However, even though Dornan is the lead in the "Fifty Shades" series, according to Enstars, Johnson is outshining Dornan when it comes to other movie offers outside "Fifty Shades."

Deadline says that Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele in the "Fifty Shades" series, has been recently tapped to be one of cast members in "The Sound Of Metal." In the said drama film, Johnson will star as a lead singer in a band along Michael Schoenaerts, who plays a drummer. The story revolves around Schoenaerts' character, who will gradually become deaf and his journey and acceptance on losing a sense that's important to him.

The said drama film is directed by Matthias Schoenaerts and will be produced by Michael Costigan and Ben Leclair.

Meanwhile, Dornan is currently filming "The Fall" Season 3, per Movie News Guide. The news outlet said that the actor, who is famous for his role as Christian Grey, has recently been mobbed by fans in Belfast while filming the TV series.

“The Orangefield site is getting really busy with fans now…But Jamie is always kind and patient. He understands he has fans and he treats us very nicely, always taking the time to come and say hello and, in turn, he gets brilliant support," Gary Ross, a fan, told Belfast Live.

In an interview with People, a representative of Dornan cleared a rumor that the actor is not returning to reprise her role in other "Fifty Shades" sequels.

"Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film," Dornan's representative told People.

Also, in a separate interview with People, Dornan showed his excitement for "Fifty Shades Darker" saying, "I’m looking forward to embodying Christian again -- and getting a chance to show more of him."

Dornan also hinted that there will be more NSFW scenes in the news outlet, which corroborates with Johnson's honest statement about filming sex scenes with the actor. Talking to Elle, Johnson said, "I don’t have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame. I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."
