Nina Williams joins the official character roster of "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution." Watch her in action wearing a wearing dress in the trailer below:

The trailer with Nina Williams was released in celebration of "Tekken 7" joining the EVO 2016 event this year. In the video named "Nina Williams: The Fatal Bride," it is unclear why she is attired in it. According to Game Rant, it could be possible that the white dress and veil will be her primary costume in the game. While Tekken is no stranger to alternate costumes, it is also possible that Nina has a more suitable one for combat.

According to the website, Williams is one of the most popular characters in the franchise as she even had her own game in 2005. While it is unclear if Nina's default is the Fatal Bride garb, either way fans are delighted that she's been revealed as an official part of the roster.

According to the official "Tekken 7" website, other characters in the roster are Claudio, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Josie, Gigas, Kazumi, Kazuya, Heihachi, Lars, Asuka, Lili, Alisa, Xiaoyu, Feng, Paul, Marshall Law, Steve, Leo, Hwoarang, King, Dragunov, Bryan, Jin, Devil Jin, Yoshimitsu and Jack-7.

"Tekken 7" will be PlayStation 4 exclusive. It was revealed by Bandai-Namco executive producer Katsuhiro Harada during Paris Game Week 2015. According to Game Spot, the game is available in many of Japan's arcades and while there have been North American location tests for the game, there is still no word about the PS4 release date. What makes the console version highly anticipated is the new content that is not present in the arcade version.

A new crossover character named Akuma coming from the "Street Fighter" franchise will join the fighters. Akuma or Gouki is a well-known antagonist in his own video game universe, according to IGN. He is imbibed with the demonic force Satsui no Hado and employs Shotokan karate fighting style similar to those with Gouken, Ken and Ryu as he trained with their master.

Watch the Akuma reveal trailer below:

As to why Akuma is crossing over to the Tekken universe, it may have something to do with the whole Mishima family drama. Kazumi Mishima is the wife of Heihachi and the mother of Kazuya. It was revealed last year that Kazumi will be a boss character of the franchise and that most of her special moves and combos are assisted by her tiger, IGN reports. However, Kotaku notes that Harada has explained that many things will be explained in the new game and the family quarrel will see its end in there as well. As to how, the new featured content in the PS4 version may give the answers.
