Many "Red Dead Redemption" fans are starting to get annoyed by the series of rumors and speculations surrounding the plot and release of the new "Red Dead Redemption 2." Because of the success of the first installment, fans have been waiting for the next episode of the series. However, there have been no official announcements from the people working behind the video game that would suggest the validity of these rumors.

Nonetheless, fans are excited about the latest development of "Red Dead Redemption 2." There is a report that the much-anticipated sequel of the "Red Dead Redemption" franchise will finally be launched during the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 in 2016, according to a report by Movie News Guide.

The report also says that October 2016 will be the game's official release on Xbox One and PS4. If the new speculation is true, fans will no longer have to wait for 2017 for the new game to arrive. This rumor started when Strauss Zelnick, the chief executive officer of Take Two, revealed that "Red Dead Redemption" is definitely permanent.

"I pretty much know the ones that I can assure you are permanent. It's obvious that GTA is a permanent franchise as long as we keep delivering this incredible quality; it seems quite obvious that 'Red Dead' is a permanent franchise, again with the same caveat, or Borderlands, for example, and NBA and others," the CEO said.

Meanwhile, according to reports gathered by Cross Map, there are rumors circulating that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be set in Japan. If this is the direction Rockstar wants to take, fans will have mix feelings about this.

It is pretty creative to take the story in the Land of the Rising Sun; however, this will take the western feel of the game itself. Critics actually doubt if this will happen.

Rumor has it that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be expanding its map to the East but certainly not Japan. Does it mean it includes New York, Boston or Chicago? The report is yet to be confirmed by Rockstar.

The set of the first installment was in the Western area of the United States. The latest report stated that several states will be added to the gameplay map.

The states that will be included in the sequel are Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Louisiana, Texas, Dakota, Rocky Mountains and Mexico. This new addition would certainly bring more excitement to the game.
