"Fifty Shades Darker" lead actress Dakota Johnson confirmed that work on the movie will be starting soon. She also discussed what fans can expect and what entails working on the sex scenes of her controversial movie.

"The story is sort of like a thriller now, and it gets kind of scary," Johnson shared in a video interview via Access Hollywood. She admitted that, despite her work in the first film, she's still intimated about stripping on the set. The sex scenes are also not easy to simulate in front of the camera.

"[The sex scenes] involve a lot of specific movement, choreography, which is really interesting to me," she added. "It doesn't ever get easy. It's not like I'm like, 'Let's do this!'"

However, Johnson is eager to resume work for the movie. "I think it's going to be exciting and interesting to go back and develop characters further," she said.

"Fifty Shades" creator E.L. James is currently in Vancouver, British Columbia where filming is set to take place. The best-selling book author has been posting photos of the location on her Instagram account and showed one photo where production has started building the set to "Fifty Shades Darker."

Fashion N Style reported that, apart from James, Johnson and lead actor Jamie Dornan have been spotted in Vancouver as well.

Metro reported that Kim Basinger is the latest cast addition who will be playing Elena Lincoln, the dominatrix who teaches Christian Grey (Dornan) about BDSM. She is also Grey's business partner. Ana Steele (Johnson) calls her Mrs. Robinson in the books.

There is still no word on whether the production has already picked an actor to play Jack Hyde, Grey's rival and former foster brother who harbors ill-feelings for the family who adopted Grey.

Meanwhile, Youth Health Mag reported that the two lead stars seem to be at odds off camera as they fight over billing and talent fees. The news outlet stated that Johnson has done more movies since her "Fifty Shades" debut compared to Dornan. Additionally, she started a lot younger than the actor in show business as a commercial model. She's likely to get first billing because of this.

Although Johnson and Dornan were paid equally in the first movie for $250,000 each, the two were said to have negotiated a raise with the studio. None of their salaries were disclosed to the press.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is slated for a Feb. 2017 theater run.
