In a few weeks' time, Valentine's Day will arrive. Are you ready to heat the bedroom with your spouse? You do not really need long preparations to have a good romance with your partner because there are foods that will help you boost your energy and stamina during the PDA-plagued day.

On Valentine's Day, take the time to consume seafood because they are good aphrodisiacs. La Isla Mexican Restaurant offers langostino lobsters also known as squat lobster or mini-lobster. This looks like small lobster but it has the meat and texture that are close to a jumbo shrimp, Sioux City Journal reported.

This meal is the perfect dish to share with your boo on V-Day because it can stimulate one's sexual desires.

Cesar De Luna, a native of Mexico who moved to Chicago, as a child is a professional cook and the owner of the resto. According to him, "Many types of seafood can be aphrodisiacs. They're great for a night out."

De Luna had a fun naming convention to his crowd-pleasing dishes. For instance, his platter of oysters, octopus, shrimp and a filled bottle of Corona beer is called "Viagra" -- named after the popular medication used to treat erectile dysfunction.

For De Luna, there is nothing more romantic than a seafood meal shared by a couple.

Seafood has always made it to the list of aphrodisiacs, especially oysters.

According to Cosmopolitan, oysters can spank your playfullness. This seafood is filled with zinc and mineral that cranks up the production of testosterone, which has been linked to a higher sex drive. Other reports claim that it also improves the sperm quality.

On the other hand, Dr. Meryl Rosofsky, a noted aphrodisiac expert and leader of the popular culinary aphrodisiac walking tour at New York City's Institute of Culinary Education, believed that the oysters' shape and texture are among the factors that make it an effective aphrodisiac, Delish has learned.

"The connection to Aphrodite, their texture, shape, and their nutrients" are among the reasons oysters are sexy for a million of reasons, said Rosofsky. The expert added that oysters often trigger romance because they are a luxury item and they are eaten seductively.

"You suck, slurp, and eat oysters out of your hands," she said.

Another popular aphrodisiac seafood is the fugu or the puffer fish. Rosofsky said that people are drawn to this because of the element of danger. Its rarity and mild silky texture also make it so desirable. Fugu is highly poisonous but highly skilled fugu chef can make dishes out of this fish without a trace of poison.
