The love month is here, and what better way to celebrate Día de Los Enamorados than with good food that fills your heart (and tummies) with happiness and sinful goodness. To celebrate Valentine's Day through food, we round up five Latin snack recipes that scream "I love you."

1. Spicy Tabasco Brownies

Give your relationship an extra kick of heat and sweetness with some unique spicy tabasco brownies. Always Order Dessert has spruced up a perfect recipe for this spicy fudgy treats that features the perfect balance between spice and chocolatey goodness. Aside from being unique, these must-have brownies are also quick and easy-to-do. All you need are your typical brownie ingredients with two teaspoons of Tabasco Original Red Sauce. Read the recipe here.

2. Caramel Custard Flan

A heart-shaped box of chocolates is too cheesy and passé. Revamp the use of the heart shape by making a caramel custard shaped like a heart. According to About Food, to prepare this delectable rich treat, you only need to buy or make three key items: a heart-shaped flan, hot caramel and custard.

To make the hot caramel, simply add sugar to one-fourth cup of water on medium heat until the mixture caramelizes and get a "deep amber color." In a heart-shaped flan, add a layer of the hot caramel then top it with your custard.

For the custard, you only need condensed milk, evaporated milk, salt, vanilla, eggs and flavoring. The filled heart-shaped flan is then cooked in a water bath in the oven until the custard is cooked. Turn over the custard once it's ready, and voila, a heart-shaped creamy goodness awaits you and your beloved. Check out the full recipe here.

3. Heart-Shaped Empanadas

For Valentine's Day, veer away from the traditional shape of empanadas and braid your dough in the shape of a heart. You can choose your favorite flavors for the empanada filling and enjoy these Valentine's Day empanadas as tasty afternoon snacks while cuddling in a hotel room or in the comfort of your own home. About Food has prepared a tasty recipe for Empanadas de Espinaca, which features spinach and a combination of cheddar, Parmesan and mozzarella cheese. You can find the recipe here.

4. Spicy Shrimp Guacamole Bites

Shrimp and guacamole in one bite? Heaven! Make your significant other fall in love all over again with fun and hassle-free bite-sized snacks. Well Plated has prepared the perfect recipe for this tasty snack, which looks fancy but only needs Sabra Spicy Guacamole, lime juice and spicy shrimps. To make the spicy shrimp, just add chili powder, cumin and smoked paprika and leave it in the oven for four to six minutes while you and your partner open a bottle of wine for some pre-gaming. To serve, use small tortillas topped with guacamole, a piece of shrimp, cheese and fresh cilantro. See the recipe here.

5. Spicy Watermelon Margarita

Of course, what is Valentine's Day without some needed fun and booze? Cookie + Kate has concocted the perfect recipe for the all-time favorite watermelon margarita with a hint of spice.
