HBO has released 20 new photos for the upcoming season 6 of "Game of Thrones." Who lives and who dies?

The release revealed characters that we will and not be seeing in the upcoming season. The exclusive photos can be seen at HBO's Making Game of Thrones website.

We see a glimpse of the season that is to come as fan favorite characters including a blind-looking Arya, Daenerys, Margaery and Sansa looking to be in trouble. We also see Tyrion, Ramsay, Brienne of Tarth, Varys, Melisandre, Balon Greyjoy, Theon-turned-Reek and his sister Yara who is reportedly coming back this season. We also see Bran Stark, looking well and standing up on his own and beside him is the Three-Eyed Raven.

There is also a picture of a sullen-looking Jamie Lannister with a covered corpse at the back which is believed to be his daughter, Princess Myrcella who was poisoned by Ellaria Sand back in Dorne. Another picture also shows Jamie with a shorter-haired Cersei which looked like the two are in a heated fight.

However, there are no pictures of Jon Snow so it is unknown if he will be making an appearance in the next season seeing as how season 5 ended with a cliffhanger of him being left for dead after being stabbed by the Night's Watch men.

According to iDigital Times, the appearance of Balon and Yara Greyjoy with the casting of Pilou Asbæk as Euron hints that the family might be instrumental in the upcoming season. It might be possible that a Greyjoy will be against one of their own and complicated by the presence of the Boltons especially with Reek who is betraying his master Bolton by assisting his wife's Sansa's escape.

As for Daenerys, International Business Times reports that she and her dragons will also play a big role in season 6. It is unclear what her fate will be as she is probably taken prisoner by the Dothraki tribe from last season. Additionally, there will be bigger dragons whether to protect Dany or to slay her enemies is unclear.

As for Sansa and Reek, she might be getting a revenge arc of her own. According to her actress, season 6 will be the best season for her character, reports Christian Post. As for all other characters, everything will be unveiled when the anticipated show goes on air.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 will be coming on April 24, 2016. What do you think? Tell us your thoughts of whether you think Jon Snow is still alive or dead in the comment section below.
