Paving a way to a great new movie in the big screen, Ubisoft is again will make a release of its new creation -- Assassin's Creed the movie. From the video game Assassin's Creed, Director Justin Kurzel (The Snowtown Murder, Macbeth and The Turning) and writers Michael Leslie, Adam Cooper and Bill Collage brought us to a full-length story of Callum Lynch (played by Michael Fassbender) and the history of his assassin's bloodline.

Callum Lynch is a criminal that was saved by the organization leading him to his past. Unlocking his memories, Lynch was reincarnated as his descendant Aguilar de Nerha, an assassin in the time of the Spanish Inquisition. As Lynch continues to live on the memories, he begins to gain knowledge and skills needed to confront the Templars of his present day.

Nevertheless, "Assassin's Creed movie has a brand-new story compared to the video game," Movie Content Head Aymar Aziazia said in his statement. New characters set in but some important trademarks of the game were left to be seen in the movie. Moreover, Michael Fassbender also commented that the changes in the movie is a right move for the creators to avoid comparison.

One of the memorable signature in-game stunts seen in the movie is "The leap of faith" jump done by Fassbender double, Damien Walters. He performs a freefall jump of 125 feet without the use of visual effects. It is one of the highest freefalls by a stuntman in almost 35 years!

Assassin's Creed is created by Ubisoft as an action-adventure stealth game for Xbox 360 in 2007 and later in Sony Playstation and in Windows. On October 2011, Sony Pictures and Ubisoft Motion Pictures came to an agreement to make a film version of the game Assassin's Creed however, it was put on hold. Not until late August 2015 when they started filming and finished it in January 2016. The film will be on the big screen this coming December 21, 2016.
