Continuous research invents new ways to address cancer properly and recent advancement has created a great chemotherapy breakthrough. Cancer is a huge problem and most of the times doctors prescribe chemotherapy as the key way to this problem.

Every day new health problem is emerging as a crucial fact of human civilization. Currently, the list of health problems is very high and medical science is working minutely to address all the problems.

A vast portion of people, suffering from health problems, is the victim of cancer, and among the cancer patients, a big portion is suffering from breast cancer. The most effective way to treat this problem is the use of chemotherapy.

The bitter fact of using chemotherapy is patients lose their hair. For long scientists are trying to invent several ways that can properly address or stop this problem. Last year medical scientists tried a unique method of using Dignitana DigniCap Cooling System to prevent the acute hair loss, and the current report discovers that the trial is a major success.

Sources of BABW NEWS have revealed that the final result is presented at the San Antonio Cancer Symposium. The result has proved that the cooling cap was tried among 95 patients and it helped to save hair of the 51 percent.

The rest 47 patients who are suffering from breast cancer and did not use the cap lost their hair.

The aim of using chemotherapy is to eliminate the affected cells by dividing cells rapidly. Now this process also divides the hair cell and the result is huge hair loss. The cooling cap helps to reduce the volume of chemotherapy agent that reaches ultimately the hair follicles.

The success of this process can be a great breakthrough to treat the patients suffering from breast cancer. This process can also explore ways for cancer patients apart from the breast cancer patients.

On December 8, 2015, FDA released a detailed statement from the desk of the official site of FDA.  Report from the FDA, U.S. FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION reveals some key facts regarding the cooling cap system.

The introductory part of the statement was " Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared for marketing in the United States the first cooling cap to reduce hair loss (alopecia) in female breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy."

Even the released statements also added some unique words of William Maisel, M.D., M.P.H. He is one of the top key persons of FDA's  Center for Devices and Radiological Health.

He said," We are pleased to see a product for breast cancer patients that can minimize chemotherapy-induced hair loss and contribute to the quality of life of those individuals,".

He also added, "Managing the side effects of chemotherapy is a critical component to overall health and recovery."

Dignitana Inc. of Sweden is the manufacturer of The DigniCap Cooling System.

Now the whole world is waiting to see the next development of this DigniCap Cooling System as patients with breast cancer are trying their best to get relief from the bad effects of chemotherapy.
