The manufacturer of Snapdragon processor, Qualcomm has added another feather to its cap with the announcement of its killer flagship processor-Snapdragon 835. Carry on reading this article further to know all about it.

Qualcomm has announced the release of Snapdragon 835 processor weeks ago, but it has not officially released the technical specs-clock speed, graphics performance and etc.

However, the benchmarking website GFXBench has flaunted the new Snapdragon processor being tested for performance. The chipset is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage on the GFX test bench.

The processor for octa-core designed with Adreno 540 GPU has shown a staggering 27% improvement in performance, compared to Adreno 530 GPU, the integral part of snapdragon 821 processor. This means faster speeds and better graphics on the smartphone. The chipset powered with eight Kyro CPU cores has clocked 2.2 GHz.

Qualcomm further claims the processor is 30 percent more compact than its predecessor, which gives more room for designers to beef-up other hardware. It also reduces the power consumption by 40 percent. According to Android Authority, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor can outsmart Apple A10 processor.

To keep readers spiced up further, these specs are on the developmental version of the processor. The final version, however, could be improved further only to raise the bar even higher to the envy of its rivals.

It is rumored that Snapdragon 835 processor is being manufactured by new the Samsung's 10nm FinFet technology. This new groundbreaking technology used to manufacture processor produces better performance while consuming lesser power.

Qualcomm did not officially confirm any of these specs, but since they appeared on GFX Bench they are most likely to be true. The flagship product is rumored to be released in MWC 2017 to be held in February in Barcelona. Ubergizmo reported that the new chipset could be first embedded in Samsung S8 which is also likely to be released in WMC 2017. Stay tuned to know more news.
