Girl Meets World season 3's last episodes are coming very soon and fans are now questioning if the sitcom will still have the chance to get aired on TV now that its characters are entering the adult phase in their lives, a topic that may not be welcomed in Disney Chanel.

With the absence of new status updates from social media accounts of the show, fans of Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter and the rest of the cast are getting more apprehensive and have suspected that they may not see a continuation of the show again.

However, fans are hopeful that if Disney will not air the new episodes, Freeform will, according to a Jobs and Hire report. It was said that Freeform can give more avenues for more experimental and more mature storylines, Jobsnhire said.

Fans' hopes were fueled by Blanchard's previous statement that they still have more stories to tell, particularly those that are expected to appeal today's new generation who want ' more mature and sensitive but timely stories.'

Girl Meets World is sacred to Blanchard as it is in this show where she gains popularity and where she carved a niche in the industry.

Amidst the absence of news and spoilers for a possible season 4, news pundits have gathered that Disney Channel will have its season finale in January 20 and new episodes on January 6 and 13, Yahoo TV said. The finale's title, "Girl Meets Goodbye" also created a stir among fans especially as it will feature the cast of  Boy Meets World, which would make it a much-anticipated reunion!

Disney, on the other hand, still has no news about renewing the contract of the show but kept audience's enthusiasm by announcing new dates for other Disney shows including Liv and Maddie new episodes on January 6, 13, 20 and 27. It was also announced that Biazaardvark will air new episodes on January 13, 20 and 27 and K.C. Undercover on January 6 and 13.

Meanwhile, Gamenguide reported that Girl Meets World stars Sabrina Carpenter and Rowan Blanchard were seen filming in New York amidst cancellation rumors of the show. Previously, it has also been reported that a rift between these lead stars caused them to leave the show.
