"Teen Titans" is a title that's quite familiar to comic book fans, has surfaced recently as a new planned project for DCEU. Being the leader of the team, Nightwing is the name that's on every comic book fans tongue when it comes "Teen Titans" but who should play as Dick Grayson's Alter-ego in the movie?

Movienewsguide says there's a few names like former teenage heartthrob Zac Efron, former Spider-man Andrew Garfield, and Scott Eastwood. Zac Efron could be cast as Nightwing though, with his good looks and bulked-up physique, seeing him as Dick Grayson is quite the obvious choice. But Andrew Garfield is quite the contender of such iconic role. He does have an experience being in a comic book movie as Spider-Man before. Nightwing is a former acrobat, and pretty good with funny one-liners, quite similar with the Spider-Man he bring to the screen.

While Movie Pilot suggests Matt Cohen from 'South of Nowhere', Dylan O'Brien from 'The Maze Runner', Harry Lloyd from 'Game of Thrones', David Henrie from 'Wizards from Waverly Place' and Danny Shepherd. From those five names, Danny Shepherd is the main contender for the role. Not only he learned how to play the escrima, Nightwing's the weapon of choice, but he does play the character in a youtube series by ismahawk.

Another rumour that Walking Dead's Steven Yeun is one of the considered actors to take the mantle of Nightwing. As reported by Morning News Usa when a fan tweeted a picture of the actor side by side with artwork of the character. There has been no statement from Steven Yeun about he rumour.

DCEU is the DC Comics cinematic project started with the release Man Of Steel in 2013. With other household names like Batman and Wonder Woman already featured in earlier this year's "Batman V Superman : Dawn Of Justice", alongside "Suicide Squad" the Joker, Harley Quinn and the merry band of DC's supervillain team up in back in August. With "Justice League" is scheduled to release in 2017, and titles like "Teen Titans" and a whole other projects,  DCEU is one of the highly anticipated releases in cinemas worldwide
