Super Mario is one of the most popular and recognizable video game characters of all time. Based on the character, Nintendo, a Japanese entertainment company developed the game, Super Mario Run. The game was initially released on 15 Dec 2016 and the initial release was exclusively for iOS platforms.

Super Mario Run is the first Mario mobile game ever developed. It was announced by Nintendo, that the android version of the game will only be released in 2017.  Pokemon Go was another popular game, which was  previously developed by Nintendo.

Knockoff games developed games with similar titles. As per AndroidHeadlines, games with similar Mario titles started to appear in Google Play Store soon after the release of Super Mario Run. It was a clever tactic by Knockoff games to make profit. With this unethical approach they have clearly violated developer policies.

As there is no android version of the Super Mario Run, it is unable for any app to list down the name in Google Play Store. When Google detected the game Mario Run Jumper as a clone of Nintendo's game, it was immediately suspended from the Google Play Store. But other than that no other rigid steps are taken by Google to avoid such foul play.

Report News Today reported that, Nintendo launched the game initially in iOS with the fear of mobile theft. The in app-purchase of the game is $9.99. There is a free-to-play demo available with the one time purchase of the game.

Super Mario Run is a very user friendly game, according to Shigeru Miyametu, the designer and creator of Mario game. The game can be controlled even with one hand and there is no complex gaming included in it. Previously it was planned to launch along with the launch of  iPhone 7. The android version of Super Mario Run can be expected in early 2017.
