Apple is planning to release the next generation iPhone to coincide with its 10th anniversary in September 2017. The compass is pointing towards a powerful iPhone that is shaping up.

But, the million dollar question is whether Apple will make over the iPhone 7 and release as iPhone 7S or completely revamp the design specs and features to thrill its fans.

According to MacRumors, Barclay's analyst Mark Moskowitz speculated the following: "There might be no 'S' cycle in C2017. Our conversations with industry participants suggest Apple could skip the "S" cycle next year and instead jump to IP8."

The new model iPhone 8 will feature a plastic OLED display in the high-end model with a large display. Surprisingly, Apple ordered 100 million units from Samsung. It is further reported in Forbes that the curved OLED display will be a "Quad-curve" and touch-sensitive on all sides.

Other major improvements are the new iPhone 8 will be powered by the mighty A11 processor, which hikes the downloadable speed to new highs. The new iPhone 8 SoC (system-on-a-chip) is rumored to be highly efficient 10nm chip manufactured with FinFET process. Apple is wary of its rival Qualcomm, which is manufacturing Snapdragon 835 processor. SD 835 is having the same specs as A11 is likely to power Apple's iPhone 8 arch-rival Samsung S8.

As per Trusted Reviews, the iPhone 8 may incorporate some features like all-glass design, 5.8-Inch OLED screen, Wireless charging technology, Intel 7360 LTE modem, Pressure sensitive home button and Touch ID finger Print sensor. Rumors are milling that iOS11 may be running iPhone 8.

iPhone 8 is presumed to be to be released in September 2017and sold at price tag of £599 in the UK or an equivalent amount of $735 in the US.

With lackluster iPhone 7 sales this year, Apple really needs a game-changing iPhone to support and sustain the company's growth. iPhone is sole bread earner for the Apple. With Android market closing in, Apple badly needs iPhone 8 to place in Apple on Cloud 9.
