The year 2016 for Korean Giant Samsung was both good and bad citing the release of Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and the defamed Samsung Galaxy Note 7. The Latter has already been discontinued after receiving complaints of catching fire and getting exploded. Samsung is expected to perform well in 2017 when it will unveil Samsung Galaxy S8 along with rumored Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has been in headlines for quite a long time now. The device will be an all-screen bezel-less display. Although much is known about Galaxy S8, little is known about the speculated Galaxy S8 Plus and if it rolls out, it will undoubtedly outrun and outpower the Galaxy S8 model in terms of configuration and features.
The Galaxy S8 will have an 5" Screen whereas the infamous Galaxy Note 7 had a 5.7" Screen, the Galaxy S8 Plus will sport a massive 6" Display thereby making its basic model feel small. Both the devices will have QHD Display as its predecessor.

The Indian Express stated that both the models will have a QHD curved display thereby scrapping all flat models. Apart from the display, Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus might have Stylus Pen similar to its Galaxy Note counterpart, however, some reports deny and state that the S-Pen will cease in the Plus version.

GSMArena has predicted the date of release that is April 2017 in New York at Mobile World Congress 2017. As per rumors, Google and Samsung are in disputes pertaining to the Artificial Intelligence Assistant Google wants its Google Assistant as the sole AI knowing the fact that the Samsung developed its own AI which could endanger its dominance.

The expected price for both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus may rise around 15-20% which will end up making the upcoming smartphones expensive. Both the smartphones will have improved and upgraded features.
