Yi Technology To Come Up With The Fastest Drone 'Erida' That Shoots 4K Action Movies@60fps At The Speed of 75MPH

Yi Technology is a China-based Brand with mainstream products like action camera and drones that usually shoot at 30fps, however, look no further. Yi Technology is about to launch the first of its kind Tricopter which can shoot 4K videos at 60fps.

The tricopter "Erida" will release at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017 which is slated to be held between January 5 and January 8. Erida Tricopter is capable of flying at a speed of 75mph with the battery power of 40 minutes. The drone is made up of a honeycomb-like carbon-fibre frame that can withstand high impacts and looks extremely futuristic. The Yi Technology tried to minimize the weight with lightweight carbon-fibre in order to achieve this agile speed.

GSMArena reported the release of Eria Drone and stated that the Erida Tricopter comes with Yi 4K+ action camera that makes the whole product look enticing. The beautifully designed tricopter design looks fresh as usually drones are clad in quadrotors.

NDTV Gadgets360 is immensely fascinated after the intel of the technological innovation made Yi Technology was unveiled. The reports state that the Erida Drone is being built by Atlas Dynamics in collaboration with Yi Technology and much more records are in the name of the latter such as creating the fastest tricopter and the first fully carbon-fibre clad drone.

Yi Technology will also reveal the Yi 4K+ as standalone product apart from being included in the drone also. The Yi 4K+ is capable of recording 4K videos for straight 120 minutes at 60 frames per second which is also a record as all other action cameras can reach maximum up to 30 frames per second. The increase Frame rate will enable more refined editing using Photoshop or other software.

However, Yi Technology is not the only competitor with 4K@60fps camera, GoPro is a renowned and widely acclaimed brand which will launch its own action camera to shoot 4K videos at 60fps and will be a great sight to see at the upcoming CES 2017.
