While Virat Kohli is the poster boy of the most popular Indian sport - Cricket, Anushka Sharma is the dream girl of Bollywood. Link-ups between movie stars is not uncommon but between a screen diva and a sportsman its a different match altogether.

The couple fondly named VirUshka by the fans always create tremendous buzz with their public appearances. Zee News reports them being spotted in Dehradun a hill station of North India. A photograph taken by a fan shows the two posing in a temple along with a Priest.

Despite the authenticity of the photograph not being verified, the presence of temple priest intensifies the rumour of their alleged engagement. The always in-news relationship is not new to news and rumours, in fact speculations have been a part of this love story from the time they fell in love.

According to The India Express the couple reportedly met for the first time in 2013 while shooting for a television commercial. Following that they were spotted in many public events and social gatherings leading to their dating rumours.

Anushka publicly supported Virat by attending many of his cricket matches while he surprised her on her film shooting sets. From following each other on social media to the PDA's this couple has never shyed away from public glare and paparazzi.

The boldest move by the cricket wonder boy has to be his flying kiss towards lady love Anushka after scoring a half-century in an international match against Sri Lanka. Doing that in front of a full house stadium put all the speculations of them just being friends to rest.

As the match looked fixed the couple shocked their fans by unexpectedly parting ways. In two separate incidents Virat and Anushka reportedly argued with journalists questioning their relationship leading to the news headlines of their relationship being over. The famous pair surprised everyone by reuniting within a few months and the brief separation came out as a ploy to refocus on their respective careers instead of breakup.

Their tweets in particular acknowledge each other and they seem to be too much in love to hide their emotions. Virat puts the current engagement rumours to rest in a series of tweets "We aren't getting engaged & if we were going to, we wouldn't hide it. Simple. Since news channels can't resist selling false rumours & keeping you confused, we are just ending the confusion." the sports star concluded.
