Hideaki Itsuno, Director of 'Devil May Cry' and 'Dragon's Dogma' will announce his new game this year, according to his twitter account a few days back, mentioned alongside his celebratory Happy New Year to his fans. Many of his games fans gets pretty excited when he tweeted this of course, with many of them expected this upcoming game to be another game in the 'Devil May Cry' series.

The game itself is obviously a CAPCOM game. But which one? This is a question that looms around the fans. As we said earlier, 'Devil May Cry' is the most awaited game since its latest installment, 'DmC' is considered a failure among the fans.

But according to a report from GMAnetwork, there is a possibility that a 'Dragon's Dogma' is one of the possibility besides 'Devil May Cry'. And there's CAPCOM's arcade-fighting genre games 'Power Stones' and 'Rival Schools' which gained a cult following among the hardcore gamers. But, with another CAPCOM's household name, 'Resident Evil' looked to rock the survival-horror genre once again, with 'Resident Evil 7', Itsuno will make a lot of CAPCOM fans happy if he's working on another classic title.

On a lighter note, there's an interesting article related to this rumor/speculation. A few days ago Forbes released an prediction about the gaming world in 2017, and 'Devil May Cry' is one of them. The article predicts that a 5th installment of the game will be announced this year, alongside many other games. This is merely a prediction based on the writer's assumptions though, Itsuno and CAPCOM themselves has not yet confirmed or reveal the title of the game.

Currently there's all sorts of speculation and rumors about what this game may be, but without the official announcements from the developer and the director, fans just have to wait and see what they have in store for them.
