Meizu is a China-based company which has smartphones such as Meizu M3, Meizu Pro 6 Plus, and much more. However, it's the Meizu M5 which has topped the chart of highest and fastest selling Meizu smartphone and here is Why.

Meizu unveiled Meizu M5 which is a successor to Meizu M3 and with the price tag of just $100 for the base model and $130 for the high-end variant. Meizu M4 was scrapped as the Number "4" is considered unlucky and Meizu M5 has impressed a large community and especially those who want to sell out less in return of more.

In a review by GSMArena, it is stated that Meizu M5 features a 5.2-inch Display similar to its predecessor M3. The device remains unchanged in terms of resolution that is an HD display with 720x1,280 pixels. Powered by 3,070mAh, the Chinese maker has inflated 7% in the total battery life that which makes the device run for a couple of hours.

Available in two variants, the Meizu M5 has a 2GB/16GB Internal storage priced at $100 and another high-end smartphone has specifications of 3GB/32GB Internal storage priced at just $130 both of which are cheaper even compared to any Chinese smartphones.

Forbes reviewed the Meizu M5 and found out some specs such as a 13-megapixel rear shooter with an aperture of f/2.2 that takes crisp photos and videos during the day but the quality might degrade during night-time. Low light photography will surely disappoint you, however, at just $100, the Meizu M5 is truly a brilliant smartphone. The front snapper is ordinary 5-megapixel.

Under the hood, Meizu M5 sports a MediaTek MT6750 that supports heavy apps with ease. The device runs on 5.5 Flyme OS. Clad in Solid Plastic, the Meizu M5 has several color variants of which Matte Black is truly impressive although all other color variants are impressive too.
