Android Nougat 7 Update Released For HTC 10 [VIDEO]

T-Mobile is started rolling out Android Nougat 7.0 update for HTC 10 smartphones. The information was updated by a reliable source, @LlabTooFeR through a tweet on January 4, 2017.

HTC 10 smartphone was released as the flagship phone for the Taiwanese company, HTC in April 2016. The phone was rolled out with Android Marshmallow 6.0 but upgradable to nougat version, as per GSMArena.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update was not officially released. But, as per the reports received that many of HTC 10 users have got the OTA and started using the wonderful Android update which has multiple features.

The Nougat software update is around 1.22 GB and hence, consumes a lot of memory space. Users who wish to update first need to free some space to welcome this mammoth version onto your smartphone.

Users can check for manual updates for this version. Incase notification is not seen in the notification bar. Although, HTC promised Nougat update somewhere in January, but sudden news of release surprised many customers who immediately grabbed their phone to check for updates, reports Phone Arena

Google smartphones have the luxury of being the first phones to receive Android Nougat update, followed by buggies like LG V10 and Samsung S7 siblings.

The Android Nougat 7.0 update has quite fascinating features like multiple windows for multitasking, Google Daydream support for VR headsets, shortcuts for Apps to Home screen.

HTC 10 is a 5.2-Inch phone powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset supported by 4GB RAM and an option of 32/64 GB storage, which Micro SD card expandable to 128GB. It is charged with a battery of 3000mAh. The phone is bundled out with the 12MP rear camera and 5MP front-facing camera to shoot selfies.

One of the pinching issues with HTC is the poor battery backup it offers. However, thanks to the Android Nougat 7 update with its Quick Charge technology that brings a new leash of life within 30 minutes.
