Today also, Sony can be count as one of the top players in the world of smartphone, but from last few years the company has lower sales in the mobile department. In 2016, Xperia X series has a good impression on the market by offering advanced specification to consumer.

In last year, Sony announced the Xperia X in February and made it available in Europe at the start of June. This Xperia X has comed up with 5-inch HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 3GB Ram, and 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage. Also, had a 23MP rear camera and 2,620mAh battery.

The rumor was also that Sony is planning to unveil at least two new smartphones in February at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. One of the phones to be announced next month could be the Xperia XZ (2017), and another one can be New Xperia X.

Now, In 2017 Sony is preparing to launch new Xperia X, but the image of the upcoming Xperia X has been leaked, according to GizmoChina. The picture shows of New Xperia X, but this smartphone can carry different name at the time of launch. At this point, the specification of the upcoming new Xperia X phone is quite unknown, but it's a successor to last year's models.

The Sony phones are used to have quite thick side bezels, but the company is trying to come out with new approach this year. The leaked image of upcoming new Xperia X shows thinner side bezels, and also has smaller upper and lower bezels and its quite normal for the upper bezel to be slightly larger, whereas it houses the Sony logo, the front camera and the speaker grill. The pictures of upcoming New Xperia X have been taken from an advertising material, a report claimed by Phone Arena.

So there's plenty of time, around more than a month away from Sony's official announcement. Hopefully, it can bring something different than what we're used to see.
