Lionsgate and Qualcomm Technologies unveiled the new Power Rangers images from the Power Rangers Virtual Reality (VR) experience at the 2017 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The experience will allow audiences to enter of the Power Rangers' massive assault vehicles called the Zords, and use their powers and capabilities.

Zords can change into the humanoid robots too, which are called MegaZords.

The new images first appeared on a site called ComingSoon.

The Power Rangers movie follows the story of five ordinary high school kids who find that they have extraordinary powers and the only ones who can save the World from an alien threat. The movie cast includes Dacre Montgomery as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Becky G as Trini the Yellow Ranger, and Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger. The power rangers are led by Zordon (played by Bryan Cranston). Bill Hader provides his voice to Alpha 5, the robot assistant to Zordon while Elizabeth Banks will play the intergalactic villain Rita Repulsa.

The Comicbook reveals that the new images show Alpha 5 standing next to the five holographic Power Rangers and perhaps, Zordon in the distance. Though the Battle Zords are not to be seen anywhere, they must be present in the VR movie because the movie is named as 'Power Rangers: Zords Rising'.

Written by John Gatins, Burk Sharpless, Matt Sazama, Zack Stentz, Ashley Miller, and Max Landis, Power Rangers is directed by Dean Israelite. The producers of the movie include the creator Haim Saban along with Marty Bowen, Brian Casentini, and Wyck Godfrey.

The movie release of Power Rangers is scheduled for March 24, 2017.
