Apple iPhone Revolutionized Smartphone Industry; To Mark Its 10th Anniversary on January 9, 2017

From iPhone to iPad, from iPod to MacBook, Apple has always thrived to produce and sell high-quality high-configuration devices that have changed the outlook towards what is called mobile computing now. Apple iPhone turned 10-years on January 9, 2017, when it was founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak on January 9, 2007, in Steve's garage. 

When the first iPhone was launched back in 2007, Blackberry ruled the world with its keypad and BBM services. Although there were few touchscreen mobiles available, Apple launched the most sophisticated touchscreen device that changed the outlook of Smartphones and Applications known today. The device was called Apple iPhone 1 or iPhone 1G.

Japan Today counted on the statistics of Apple Inc in 2017 which has become enormously huge. During the fiscal year 2016, the net sales of Apple were $215.6 billion with operating income of $60 billion. To put things into perspective, Apple Inc is single-handedly capable of acquiring Twitter, Netflix, Hulu, Tesla Motors, Nvidia, Advanced Micro Devices and will have something left to invest. Apple has reached a phenomenon success in a very short time and it is known as a status symbol around the globe.

Although the sales data states Apple bore a huge profit, the sales have slumped compared to previous year as the prescribed targets were not made and hence, many executives in Apple saw salary cut. Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc reported a decline in income from $10.3 million in 2015 to $8.75 million in 2016. The official figures and data will be released by Apple on January 31.

At Consumer Electronics Show 2017, Apple was not available, however, it was its legacy and footprints that can be seen in many products whether its mirror features or gadgets that work with Apple smartphones. Apple started churning more money out of its services and apps and reported of the record-breaking holiday season on New Year's Eve, reports NDTV Gadgets360.

Apple is currently focusing on its iPhone 8 lineup which is expected to be out in September 2017. Furthermore, the speculated "Jet White" color variant might also launch to celebrate iPhone's 10th Anniversary. Apple Smartphones have revolutionized every aspect of technology. The Apple A10 chip is considered the most powerful chipset which surpasses the capabilities of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC.
