‘Cloak And Dagger’ Releases On Freeform And ‘The Runaways’ On Hulu: $42 Million Budget For ‘Cloak And Dagger’

Marvel Cinematic University much awaited TV series' 'Cloak and Dagger' and 'The Runaways' planned to be released in two different networks. The 'Cloak and Dagger' to be released on Freeform and 'The Runaways' to be released on Hulu. Both the series has plans to start the filming in February 2017.

As per the reports from Comicbook, 'Cloak and Dagger' will be filmed in New Orleans with a shooting title called as 'Shadows'. While 'The Runaways' will be filmed in Los Angeles with the shooting title 'Rugarts'.

The budget for filming 'Cloak and Dagger' is about $42 million, which is equal to the Netflix's shows by Marvel. The Heroic Hollywood, also gave the information that 'Cloak and Dagger' will begin filming on Feb15, 2017.

'Cloak and Dagger' is the first Marvel's show on ABC's Freeform. Also 'The Runaways' will be the first initiative of Marvel on Hulu. Since the announcement of both the shows back in 2016, everyone has been eager to watch the show. But it seems both the shows will premiere in 2018 only.

'Cloak and Dagger' is a story about two teenagers, Tandy Bowen and Tyronne Johnson. Both of them are from entirely different backgrounds and during their adventurous journey of life they fall in love. The story becomes more interesting with their realization of super powers within them. As the popular Spiderman dialogue, with more power, more responsibilities come to them.

The makers of 'Cloak and Dagger' has previously released a logo of the show. But with 'The Runaways' no details other than the place of filming and shooting title are announced. Every other details of the show are kept under wraps. The story line of 'The Runaways' can be expected as that of the comics, which is also a story of a group of teenagers.

The fans of Marvel's shows 'Cloak and Dagger' and 'The Runaways' can't stop second guessing the details of the shows. Other than 'Cloak and Dagger' and 'The Runaways', Marvel's 'Black Panther' is also getting ready to be launched. The shooting title of 'Black Panther' will be 'Motherland'.
