Approximately Nine years ago, Montauk, New York, was put in the spotlight of the mass media for a discovery of a bizarre creature that was washed ashore in the Ditch Plain beach. But just recently, Montauk is again covered with another bizarre event, not with a monster, but with its latte called "Unicorn Latte", that is said to have the magic of healing.

Popsugar tells that according to café's Instagram, the Unicorn Latte it made from a coconut milk with ginger and honey, plus lemon and blue-green algae, gives its magical light blue hue. Also, it has cayenne and maqui berry.

Part coffee alternative, part alternative medicine filled to the brim with wellness trends, this wonder fave started with a family and a group friends of Madeline Murphy and Bret Caretsky. Per New York Times Magazine, the group first opened their Montauk Juice Factory on the East End of Long Island almost three years ago.

Because of the ambition to explore and share something more, the group decided to open the End last summer as a coffee shop and offers Montauk Juice Factory's organic juices with apothecary goods and toasts top with avocado or nut butter and eventually, now they have a menu of healing tonics.

"We want to leave people in a better place than when we found them", said Bret Caretsky adding their juice in their takeaway drug.

The Unicorn Latte's health magic is in the ingredients which it is made. Golden Milk has the cure-all in holistic health, while the coconut milk can also reduce inflammation and aid digestion. Blue Green algae has a high in energy and boosting B12s, enzymes, minerals and C-phycocyanin, an amino-acid-dense protein. And ginger detoxes, settles in the stomach, soothes sore muscles and helps digestion.

The Williamsburg-born plant-powered potions are offered at The End of Brooklyn café's Plant Alchemy Bar, priced at $9 a pop.
