Samsung Aims To Sell 20 Million Galaxy A Phones, 100 Million Galaxy J Phones & 60 Million Galaxy S8 Phones, Rumor Or True Internal Sales Goals?

Samsung is a South Korean Tech Giant and one of the biggest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Last Year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and the defamed Note 7. This year, Samsung fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming Galaxy S8 lineup. Well, rumors claim that Samsung has plans to sell 20 million units of Galaxy A devices and over 100 million Galaxy J devices in 2017 alone.

The target set by Samsung if these rumors are true is extremely high. The Internal sales goals are always high to achieve higher sales records compared to last year. Samsung aims to sell around 20 million units of Galaxy A handsets as per GSMArena. The newly revealed Galaxy A Series (2017) features A3, A5, and A7 with IP68 water and dust resistance which was lacking in the previous iteration. Although the specifications of this new series have been slightly improved, the IP68 protection remains a key aspect to boost sales.

As per the rumors, the tech giant wants to sell around 100 million units of the Samsung Galaxy J Series (2017) in around the biggest markets in the world. Moreover, J Series have shown escalated specifications and hence, this might boost the sales and help the Samsung to reach its Internal sales goals.

The upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus which might be unveiled in the third week of April 2017 probably on April 17 have attracted sales target of 60 million units which means 60,000,000 units. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be launched with premium hardware and configuration. It also features an edge-to-edge OLED Display that will be rich in pixels and hence, improves the display aspect of Samsung smartphone even further. Android Headlines states that Samsung Galaxy S8 pulled many headlines ever since its existence surfaced. A rumor claimed that the device will be launched in February at MCW 2017, however, it has been moved forward to April. The upcoming Galaxy S8 will include the Samsung-built Artificial Assistance similar to Siri, Alexa and has been named as Bixby which is expected to compete with Google AI, Amazon's Alexa, and Apple's Siri.

Samsung is one of the premium smartphone manufacturers whose devices are available in any and every budget. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a premium smartphone with refined and exponential configuration to compete with Apple iPhone 7 whereas it's budget alternative is Samsung Galaxy A series.
