‘Pacific Rim: Uprising’ Movie Cast: John Boyega As Pentecost In A Jaeger Pilot Suit

The sequel of 2013 movie 'Pacific Rim', 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' is expected to hit the theatres on Feb 23,2018.  Since the information about John Boyega being a part of the movie, 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' came, the fans can't stop speculating about his role in the movie. The short term appearance of a  photograph of John Boyega in a Jaeger pilot suit by Dan Mindel, the cinematographer of 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' has given higher hopes, also some hints of the movie.

The ANIMENEWSNETWORK reports that, the filming of 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' has already started back in November 2016 in Sydney. John Boyega was visible in Sydney, Australia in a costume for 'Pacific Rim: Uprising'. The 'Star Wars' actor and the co-producer of 'Pacific Rim: Uprising', John Boyega will portray the role of Stacker Pentecost's son, also the lead character of the movie. In 2012 movie 'Pacific Rim', Idris Elba was the actor who played the role.

As per the reports from Pacific Rim 2, Rinko Kikuchi is playing a hide and seek with the fans about the information of her being a cast for 'Pacific Rim: Uprising'. Even the director of' Pacific Rim: Uprising', Steven DeKnight,  hasn't confirmed anything official about Rinko Kikuchi's apocalypse in the movie. In a Tweet made by Steven DeKnight in his Twitter account, Steven says that "I can neither confirm nor deny the existence of apocalypse"

Cailee Spaeny, the singer and actress will be handling the female lead role of 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' along with John Boyega's lead role. Charlie day  and Burn Gorman will be reprising their role as Newton Geiszler and Hermann Gottileb, respectively. Kim Jeong - Hoon and Xiao Yang are expected to have a cameo in the movie' Pacific Rim: Uprising'.

 The confirmed cast members other than John Boyega and Cailee Spaeny in 'Pacific Rim: Uprising' are Jing Tian, Adria Arjona, Levi Meadan and Scott Eastwood. There are some other expected cast like Max Martini, Qian Yongche,n Clifton Collins Jr.,  Lan Yingying, Mackenyu,Chen Zitog, Shyrley Rodriguez, Zhang Jin, Wesley Wong, Lily Jiand Ron Perlman, whose roles are yet to be confirmed in 'Pacific Rim: Uprising'.
