Amazon Prime Releases Its Very Own Anime Branded Channel For $5 A Month

Good news for all, Amazon has finally come out with this first anime channel. The channel known as Anime Strike would cost only $5 a month and would be available for all Amazon Prime subscribers.

The Prime members would also get a free trial of seven days, after which they need to pay only a small amount of $4.99. Users can make use of the free trial to check out the service and then go ahead with the subscription. This is one of the newest additions to Amazon's wide range of services it has come up with.

According to IGN, Anime Strike would allow users to have access to a wide range of anime streaming. That's not all, users would need to keep watching old animes, the site would also update latest episodes each week.

Some of the prominent titles included in Amazon Prime backed Anime Strike would be "ONEHEI" and "Scum's Wish". Anime strike would also offer over 1000 series, movies and episodes ranging from the latest shows to classic shows aired on Japanese TV.

The add free shows on Amazon Anime Strike includes recent series such as " The Great Passage",  "Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga" along with classic shows such as "Tokyo Godfathers" and more. As per The Variety, Amazon's VP of digital video, Michael Paull, said, "With anime in particular, there's a strong, passionate audience that is underserved by traditional pay TV."

Now, Anime Strike has been created with a perfect mix of romance, adult themed as well as action titles in order to reach out to all age group of users. Paull also said that the aim of the new service would be to reach out to a wide range of customers. The biggest advantage is that the company can use the data available with Amazon to understand the taste of the customer and what program would interest them.
