Apple is planning to launch and produce its original shows for Apple TV. Now, apart from bringing out the latest smartphone, Apple is planning to do something new and definitely big this time.

Interestingly, the tech biggie is planning to add its original content to Apple Music. It is time for the fans of "The OA" and "Westworld" to celebrate as another key player is planning to enter the world of original, high quality online video.

As per The Wall Street Journal, Apple has been in talking terms with several Hollywood producers to buy copyrights to the TV shows and it is expected that the new video might come out within end 2017. As of now it appears that Apple is interested to start small since it is taking up only a handful of shows at a time. Well, it is quite easy to understand that Apple would expand its base right after tasting the first fruit of success.

The move has come at a right time when the Cupertino company is under excessive pressure to offer something new and to generate more revenue. In fact, the lower consumer demand for iPhone 6 than what the company expected might be one of the causes for such a step.
