Almost all smartphone users are aware that the latest Apple iPhone 8 is expected to be a revolutionary product. It is believed to include a smart all glass OLED, a steel chassis and not to forget a bigger size. That's not all, Apple is also trying hard to make up for the drawbacks of iPhone 7.

According to Forbes, multiple sources have already confirmed about the arrival of 2017 iPhones (iPhone 8 and iPhone 7s) with IP68 water and dust resistant features. Now, this simply means that the devices can withstand complete submersion in 1.5 meters of water. Users don't need to worry if they accidentally drop in the water as the device would work fine, even for 30 minutes, under the water.

On the 10th Anniversary of Apple, the company is expected to launch the two water and dust resistant models for the customers. Even though it would include these two features, the company doesn't recommend users to submerge the device in water. This is because liquid damage doesn't cover up in the warranty. The main reason for these features is that users don't need to worry using the iPhone 8 under the rain. That's amazing, isn't it?

As per BGR, the company has taken a step higher from iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with IP67. Both these models include water resistant feature, but would stay submerged in only one meter of water. Even though this is definitely a great news for the new buyers, most users are skeptical how useful this feature would be.

Wondering why? Well, it is due to the tech giant's justification for removing the headphone jack stating it would free space for battery. The company had mentioned removal of the jack would ensure enough space for a bigger battery and help the phone become water resistant. Now, that's definitely worth thinking! Just like Apple, its competitor Samsung too had rolled out the IP68 features in its wide range of A series devices. Stay tuned for more iPhone 8 news and updates!
