‘Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’ Confirmed Nintendo Switch Version Trailer, Details & PC Comparison Here

Without further ado, the Nintendo Switch game launch lineup had been revealed. What’s more is that renowned RPG game, “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” is confirmed to be released in the debuted Nintendo Switch. Several gaming platforms had already catered “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” which lead gamers to scour for leaks and speculations on what the Switch version has to offer.

After Skyrim’s debut last 2011, it sold over 30 million estimated copies nationwide but didn’t make it to any console. Now after being released on the Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One, PS4, and PC, it is now confirmed to reach out to the Nintendo Switch this year. More so, the “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” title resonate as the fifth franchise of famed Bethesda game “Elder Scrolls”.

According to Nintendo Insider, the confirmation was announced by Bethesda’s executive producer and game director Todd Howard in the recent live stream of the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 in Japan. Howard mentioned as well how Bethesda loves to induce games that release the wanderlust in gamers that would indeed make them venture various game worlds that they could own themselves. He then added that “Now you can play Skyrim wherever you want, and take it on your own adventures.”

Moreover, Howard also noted how Nintendo’s success had never failed over decades as well the fun and innovation they’ve brought to the gaming community. He then concluded that he is pleased to work with Nintendo as its console brings classical and modern at the same time. But amid the announcement, no specific version was identified. In addition, Gear Nuke compared the PC version for the switch. The comparison was made possible by testing the game’s PC version Vanilla versus its PC’s Special Edition. Bethesda was then stated to “toned down” the “Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.” Comparison from its PC version showed improved vegetation details and more dynamic visual effects for better gaming experience. Hence after the test, the Switch version showed was claimed as the Special Edition. To play is to believe. Of course, gamers would still have to wait for further conclusions on what the Switch would feature.

“Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” released its Special Edition along with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last year. Yet, no exact confirmation date have been released on game’s launch in the Nintendo Switch just this 2017 was stated.
