It's already been confirmed that Disney Channel already canceled their coming of age series, "Girl Meets World." After four seasons, the TV series will finally bid their fans goodbye despite online petitions to save the show. With the high demands for the return of the show, speculations emerged that the series might potentially make it to Netflix.

After a total of 70 episodes, "Girl Meets World" was finally canceled by its fourth season. One of the biggest questions that were asked is the reason behind the cancellation. Fans were left with a heart breaking fact that their well-loved Disney series will no longer be making a comeback.

According to Deadline, the "Girl Meets World" creator, Michael Jacobs opened up about a possible return, which is not confirmed up to this date. Though it was hinted that the series may possible return, he did explain that their talk is still in the early stages of planning, thus they could not give out a concrete answer just yet.

"There are talks underway, but we're at the very very beginning stages," Michael Jacobs, the creator of the series told TV Line during an interview. "And I can tell you it's because of the audience's reaction to the cancellation that there is interest in other places. For anyone in show business, if you ask them why they're doing something and they say they're doing it for themselves, they won't sustain long. Those that answer 'We're doing it for the audience' and mean it, they sustain."

The finale of "Girl Meets World" titled "Girl Meets Goodbye" will air on Jan. 20, 2017, as reported in Bustle. A few spoiler details were then released as it was mentioned that Riley and Maya will be in for a challenging episode as Matthew's family will be moving to London for good.

There are no updates in regards to the cancellation up to this date, not were there progress in having "Girl Meets World" streamed on Netflix. As a fan, would you still watch the series if it will move to a different network?
