Ghoul fans have been waiting long enough for the third anime installment of Ishida Sui’s gore anime, “Tokyo Ghoul.” Amid the fan’s disappointment on the delayed release of the third season last year, they still hope that their awaited season would be released this year.

According to Korea Portal, speculations include that Studio Pierrot would transfer the anime’s production rights under Madhouse Entertainment. It was also stated that Studio Pierrot is responsible for “Tokyo Ghoul” fans rant on its second installment that deviated away from its manga.

Given that Madhouse Entertainment is responsible for “Hunter x Hunter”, “One Punch Man” and “Death Note” series it would seem that the upcoming season would be successful as well. Hopefully, as “Hunter x Hunter” Reboot by Madhouse, successfully found its way back to its manga roots, “Tokyo Ghoul” is expected to do so as well. With that said, the anime’s postponement is found to be delayed by the transfer rights. So, fans are bound to wait patiently again for the series third season to unravel.

Instead of the Quinx Squad led by Haise Sasaki, negative comments were received as OPP Trends reported rumors about the next season would feature a change of focus on Touka Kirishima rather than lead character, Ken Kaneki. Despite conspiracies, rest assured is that Ken Kaneki’s transition to Haise Sasaki would be included in the next installment.

More or less, the manga of Tokyo Ghoul has been processing quite well which leaves fans to still scour on what the third anime season would feature. Spoilers! With the introduction of Haise’s Quinx Squad, the death of CCG’s reaper Arima, as well as Haise’s formed alliance with other CCG and Aogiri members, how would the anime’s third season turn out? Will the production follow the manga’s storyline?

Amid the speculations that the anime would be released this March 2017, fans are yet to hold their kagunes and quinques back for further confirmation. Nonetheless, while waiting for the third season, fans could delve into the confirmed upcoming movie this spring 2017 of "Tokyo Ghoul" under the direction of Kentaro Hagiwara.
