LG seems all set to take on the virtual world with yet another launch. If rumors are to be believed, the tech giant is working with Google to launch its first virtual assistant. According to reports, Google Pixel XL and Google Pixel were the only phones to include Google's virtual assistant, but now it seems the company is ready to jump into the bandwagon via the LG G6.

According to CNET, if the company really plans to launch Google virtual assistant on its flagship device LG G6, it would become the first model from the brand outside Google to include virtual assistant. Interestingly, the tech giant would become the first to launch the virtual assistant even before its competitor, Samsung Galaxy S8.

LG has also managed to impress Google and is expected to roll out its virtual assistant in the upcoming LG smartwatches. These are expected to hit the market sometime in early February, including the LG G6. So, users can have a first glimpse of how the company includes this feature. However, users can also expect some information from the company itself.

As per reports, LG has been trying to collaborate with Google as part of a strategy to boost up its 2017 releases. The tech giant is expecting this step to be a massive one once the latest flagship device launches at Mobile World Congress. Those who are wondering that Samsung might be worried with this launch, need not think more. Samsung too, is working hard on its virtual assistant, the Bixby that is set to release with Galaxy S8. What else should we expect in LG G6?

Coming to another big news, LG doesn't seem to get satisfied with Google. According to Yahoo News, the tech biggie is also in talking terms with Amazon Alexa. The speculation suggests that the company also wants its device to control smart home appliances. Now, Alexa is Amazon's creation included in the Echo speakers. It is capable of executing commands, performing tasks and control appliances as well.

As of now, there are several LG products that work with Amazon voice assistant. So, the tech giant getting its own Alexa skills isn't an impossible thing. As of now, the company is likely to launch LG G6 is February and it is expected to hit the market in March.
