''Black Panther' Latest News & Update: Two Villains Confirmed As Martin Freeman Joins The Cast

The ''Black Panther'' has been a protector of his region "Wakanda" for centuries in the comics and the MCU. The Wakandan prince was revealed in "Captain America: Civil War'' and now he has a feature film that focuses on him. Chadwick Boseman will reprise his role as "T'Challa" the protagonist. 

Photos were taken on the set as reported by JustJared, where Martin Freeman was spotted in the Atlanta location of "Black Panther''. Another surprise increase in the cast is Lupita Nyong'o. She is to play a character named "Nakia", it's easy to spot her in the image with Chadwick Boseman. Both theses images can be seen in the embedded links below. 




The supervillain "Klaw" aka "Ulysses Klaue" (Andy Serkis) was confirmed for Black Panther when he was introduced along with the black market of Vibranium in ''Avengers: Age of Ultron." A Marvel reader could identify that the scene has the ''Black Panther'' storyline written all over it and he is to show up in the upcoming film. Another confirmed supervillain is M'Baku aka Man-Ape. These characters are affirmed to appear, according the IMDb page of the film.  

Other notable cast members include Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Angela Bassett as Ramonda and Danai Gurira. Even the girl with the stunning one liner in ''Captain America: Civil War'' who asks the Black Widow to "move" is present and her name is Florence Kasumba, who will play "Ayo".

The film is currently being directed by Ryan Coogler (Fruitvale Station and Creed fame). ''Black Panther'' is set to release next year on the 18th of February. It is Marvel's last stand alone Project to release before "The Avengers: Infinity War" hits the theaters.
