Alongside the Nintendo Switch release is another upcoming adventure of the Italian plumber, Mario. Given the title “Super Mario Odyssey,” fans scour for further news on what the gameplay would feature.

According to The Sun, the new "Super Mario Odyssey" seemed to be a successor from predecessors, "Super Mario 64" and "Super Mario Galaxy." It was seen in the trailer that the jumper donned plumber appeared on an area named New Donk City inspired by New York City. After being carried by his airship, it was seen that Mario arrived at different places.

The first area seemed to be a Western village that stands on a place full of sand. The next looked like a forest which has a stream swam on by the chubby plumber. The third is a deserted area with moss covering the place. There is even a candy-like paradise with giant fruits. More areas were featured in the latter part of the trailer.

Where on earth could the Italian plumber venture out? Nonetheless, Mario still needs to save Princess Peach from the hands of Bowser. AGAIN. This is confirmed in the last part of the trailer wherein Mario was seen battling Bowser as Princess Peach screams "MARIOOO!" for help.

More or less, Nintendo Insider noted that the scene wherein Mario was entering Crazy Cap hints new features. It was speculated that the plumber would try on different kinds of hat in the Crazy Hat shop that would probably trigger different kinds of powers. Also, what was seen in the trailer also looked like Mario's hat has a new ability which could be used as a boomerang.

Game producer Yoshiaki Koizumi then approved of this speculation since he stated on the recent Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 that, “This mysterious cap, in particular, offers action that can only be experienced on Nintendo Switch. This cap character plays an important role in Mario’s journey.” He then stated that he looks forward to Nintendo Switch users to experience the game.

"Super Mario Odyssey” is announced to be released at the end of 2017 with no particular date. So, Nintendo Switch users would have to wait.
