Women Could Control and Predict Their Baby’s Gender with Blood Pressure; New Study Found Out

Women who are bound to become mothers always worry whether would their baby be a boy or girl. Predicting the gender of a baby has been a long conspiracy on whether what could be the most effective way. Women could now avoid this problem as they could now control the gender of their baby through blood pressure.

Mirror reported that researchers at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto have found out that a simple blood pressure check could predict the sex of your baby. How does it help in controlling your baby's gender? The study simply told that you should also control your blood pressure as well.

Lead researcher, Ravi Retnakaran stated that “suggest that a woman’s blood pressure before pregnancy is a previously unrecognized factor that is associated with her likelihood of delivering a boy or girl.” News also identified that the study which included 1,411 Chinese women took into account the women’s age, education, smoking, BMI, waist circumference, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar levels in case that factors could interfere with the results.

The blood pressure study to control the baby’s gender then showed women with the lowest pressure readings to have a 43 percent chance to have a boy conceived compared to those with higher blood pressure rates that have 62 percent chance to deliver a boy. The women were then assessed to a median of 26.3 weeks before pregnancy.

Thus, the birth of 739 boys and 672 girls resulted. In which it was reported that the study published in the American Journal of Hypertension noted that “Indeed, higher maternal blood pressure before pregnancy emerged as an independent predictor of subsequently delivering a boy.”

Amid the success of the blood pressure as a factor to control the baby’s gender, Retnakaran warned that "could be particularly problematic and potentially dangerous in populations which may favor the birth of one sex over the other" since blood pressure could be tweaked and adjusted artificially.
